Hey @Sally Sunshine or @BantyChooks any idea why every time I open my incubator to turn eggs the temperature gets off? Temp will be holding stead at 100 all day, I open it to turn, it cools down. I close it and when I check an hour later the temp is reading 102 or 90 or anything but 100! I have a wafer thermostat, cooler incubators.

I'll get photos one day this week. I think for part of the year, it will get great sun, but part of the year it will get less direct sun on those front panels.

solar panels? I have small ones we re position a lot this tyme of year

How long should it take? I get flustered after an hour and it's getting too high. I usually tinker with it till I get it back to normal.

Uhhhh...like how do I turn them? I have them all marked with X/O on opposite sides. I take out three, and then move them all down the line turning to the opposite mark. To rotate where they sit in the incubator (hot/cold spots and all that!)
