Michael mornin! question, pheebe is big already, as big as when she delivered last time, is this normal she is due Jan 7th!!! she walks slow and waddles already, I am sorta worried that she may have more than two kids in there this time, I dont have a farm vet ughhh

Well, I am working, searching job boards and studying when I get a few minutes, and at home it is a push to get the young does bred, sheds finished, and the rest of winter chore prep done. I am going to my goat mentor's place this Sunday afternoon to learn showmanship so I can practice over the winter. She has a big surgery that is going to lay her up for a while so it has to be this weekend.
What is new on your end?

Could some of it be the winter fluff? Are you sure about the dates? That's only two months away. Could have more kids this time. She eating too much? Have a pic?

You might want to line up extra milk, or a buyer for a bottle baby or two so you can leave her with just two if she has multiple kids. I know some people leave them all, but I think that is too hard on a doe in the long run. She may have the milk, but it will take lots out of her.

Mike's suggestions are good, but it could also be it is not her first kidding this time. My girls that have kidded more than once always look bigger sooner on subsequent pregnancies.
