Then I want to do some controlled studies on hatching cold eggs and very old eggs.

It must. I got 2 barrels all loaded into five gallon buckets at the brewery this time. Not able to load the barrels into truck like the pig farmer can. He has a nice trailer to load them onto.

I didn't have time to un load my trailer from yesterday. I got a neighbor farmer to take his trailer with us to get today's batch. I gave him a 1/3 of 8 forty gallon cans more or less.
Not always like this... I am very content @ the moment.

Yesterday on the way to pick up grain in town, a pickup truck was ahead of us at a traffic signal. It had a stuffed duck toy/doll with it's head sticking out of the bottom corner of the tailgate. We do conventional grain pels in the am & barley grain eves. Somewhere in the forty% area. We trade eggs to a bakery lady who brings us tons of non factory made breads and such.. And veggie buddies we barter with.
We spend more time on feed related activities than improving the farm. Inventory is too big for 2 old farts..
Always fight the bottom line.. feed..
