The doctor who discharged me (the doctor who will be delivering the baby) didn't think I had a BP issue and told me I could resume fairly normal amounts of activity levels, along
with cutting my meds in half when she released me. the BP meds don't make me sick, procardia is also used for contractions, and I've taken it last pregnancy, with zero issues. I can also do magnesium IV, and it actually made me feel human, instead of sick.
So, these feelings, have nothign to do with the procardia, sadly. I wish I could blame it on them, but I was feeling this way off them, and cutting it in half made me feel worse, instead of better.
Hubby and I talked, he said if I stayed in bed ALL day, only took a 5 minute shower and had the kids handle my food, instead of me walking around the chinese place, I could go with them.
So, that's what I'll do. I promised them a few weeks ago, we'd go to chinese if their dad was working, and my 3 year old was really upset when he thought we weren't going today. I know the older kids understand, but he looks at me, and sees a normal looking mom and goes "wtf"
Probably why my OB thought I was fine, too. I look normal, and my BP/heart issue is complicated. OB's knew I had a MVP - but I don't think they really considered how much a leaky valve, would **** with a BP reading.
I still don't know if it's going to turn INTO pre-eclamspia. I just feel like crap and want them to fix me and I feel like a whiner, and the way they treated me made me feel like nothing was wrong with me.
Cardiologist is going to see me every 2 weeks for like 2 visits, then weekly until I give birth, depending on my Echo - if it needs to be weekly, it will be weekly.
I just don't even know how to cope with some of these symptoms, because I was having a really, easy pregnancy, and then out of the blue it just stopped being fine.
I hope they figure it out. I hope you and the kids enjoyed the Chinese.
ACK!! Over my dead body. Glitter is not allowed within 50 km of my house.

I'm really hoping someone can help me here. ANYONE on that has experience in herniated chicks? I need help.

Read the thread, nice job. Thanks too Benny and Wicked for being able to help.

Y'all behave yourself today.

Best part's yet to come: turkey sandwiches w/cheese, freshly-ground black pepper, and half a jar of mayonnaise.

I think I'll be making a turkey gumbo with the leftovers, only made a thigh and leg, of course the thigh and leg weighed almost 8 pounds.
