Hi there!
I'm hatching some black copper marans.. So far it's day 21 and 2 out of 12 have hatched succesfully. But the third chick seems to be stuck in the egg. The egg has a crack/ hole about half way around the egg. Half of the chick's head is sticking out of the egg but the rest of the body is wrapped in the membrane. It's been trying to push out of the egg for hours now. Should I try and help it? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

So, it has partially zipped, and then glued to the membrane, correct? Is the yolk completely absorbed?

If it is in this situation more then 2 hours you needs to help.
The unzipping should not take long.
