I am guessing her penguin is one of them that got tired of the nagging...hit the bottle a little on the hard side...and decided to run away..He is probably still a tad tipsy...poor guy..

That would explain it. I don't know if he's still tipsy, but was certainly self seasoning.

hi yall my first hatches of the year were suppost to hatch today but i just canceled and they look very different than they did one week ago, most of the embryo has disappeared can i get some help trouble shooting?
in light of the situation i started to candle some of my other eggs at 12 ish days and they look kinda weird as well

Ken do you use any after shave or something with strong smell? maybe the soap used washing your clothes? I THINK that they can detect you!

No & no. For one thing, these deer are, for the most part, a local herd. They're accustomed to wood smoke, tobacco smoke, doors opening & shutting, household smells, etc.
I have this same problem every year; it's natural for deer to 'disappear' after the breeding season, & not move around a lot. In another couple weeks the 2nd rut will occur, where the bucks will be running does that weren't bred during the 1st rut. By February, the bucks will start dropping their antlers. The foals from this year's breedings will be hitting the ground around May. Sometime in Spring or Summer, not sure when, the bucks will start growing new antlers, and the cycle starts all over again.

DH is giving the 175# to his Brewery Buds for a Christmas Gift/ Appreciation for the free feed gester. And The bigger ones made a Reservation at Howard Johnson's Freezer Motel. These will replace all the meat we harvested last April which we are giving the Gift of Flesh to Friends & Family for Christmas again. Giant Hams, Bacon Slab portions, tenderloins, Baby Back Ribs, Steaks. Tis the season to GIVE, not receive.

Nothing says MERRY CHRISTMAS like a juicy prime pork steak seared over an open flame!
