Thanks!
There was egg shell on the chick, and I decided to do it. The poor thing has been through a lot. I am optimistic that she will make it. She is a fighter, and keeps peeping! She quieted right down when I put her in the warm water. I just soaked her and used a very soft brush to try to rub away the eggshell and stuck on debris.
I used the blow dryer for a bit, but just to get the excess water off. I had her in with the other chicks, but since they are almost two days older, they were running over her and trying to peck her sometimes. I have set up a separate brooder for the night with a heating pad. At least I know she will not be pecked or become overheated.
She seems like she just wants to rest, which is called for, after such an ordeal. I will put her back with the others tomorrow I think. She absorbed her yolk well, and I gave her some sugar/nutridrench water a couple of times to keep her going. She also seemed to have a little swelling around her one shoulder, like a fluid retention. But I suspect that was from straining all day, and will resolve itself in a few days.
I will keep you all posted, wether you like it or not.

Haha!
The bottom pic is when she was stuck in the shell and shrieking. The top was before her bath, and the middle was during.
