I had it wrapped up with lime and vet wrap after chlorahexadine wash for several days. Sunday I gave up. Bleached the two feet and gave LA200. Monday and Tuesday I washed Copper sulfate scrubbing it in with an old toothbrush. Then putting on Wonder dust. She was standing on all feet well by Tuesday. We will see tonight after all day rain yesterday. All 30 hatched! But one was piled upon and doa first thing this morning. So I guess it counts as 100%. Not too sure the cause. It was one of the biggest java's in the batch. It was having roll over balancing probs though. I kept dipping it's beak into the save a chick water on and off. It appeared to be getting stronger. But I think it was trampled during an over night plop on it's back. So 29 of the other rascals are running around like rats! I have another hatch here very shortly. Candled a couple days ago for the last time. I'll have all these dropped of at the store before then. My brooder room is nerve racking loud right now.
We recently purchased analog ovens by Farm Innovators. I'm pleased with the results. The first one had a switch go out in just only 29 days but at least we replaced it under store warranty time.
My LG 9300's are up and running as well. I wish they were analog though. LG finally figured out how to get an order correct and sent the parts we asked for. Oh well. We ordered an additional controller, heater and sensor as well. We are making a homemade oven real soon. Also have a computer fan that matches the plug on the controller. That should be interesting.
I hope your doe heals fast. Have you thought about completely wrapping it up with sports tape?
I hope things work out well.
I went out there & lifted up one of the hens wings & I heard a little cheep but then the hen frantically started pushing something back under her. I think they have some infertile eggs under them, so hope they do not wait too long for those to hatch.
No signs on any of the rest yet.

I think that was the one that took forever pipping. It hatched sometime in the night.
