75% are no show. Expect it. I tell them if you say 3 and don't call and no show, don't come at 4. It's gone. We have flyers at a dozen or more feed stores. A lower percentage of inquires from cork board callers stand us up. I don't play games. There was a time when your word meant something. When I was young it was embarrassing and considered to be shameful to go back on your word. Today.. ?

I let the ducks out of their pen today. They went to the big coop to investigate, and the chickens went into the duckpen. They apparently thought the others had better food, because everyone was acting like they were starving.
It's always fun to see where the ducks go. They have a summer pen, and sleep with the chickens in the winter. I usually have to move a duck at bedtime.

I have been following your posts in lurking mode here. Family moved in and BYC time is limited now. I wish you the best on your move etc. 2 things I hate most in life, the Dentist & moving. Both equally painful.

Isn't that nice- the awkward silence? When we go from 40+ down to a few, it is nice to be able to hear other things we take for granted. Quite ambiance sounds.

Dentist is bad, I just got an overlay on Monday. Moving isn't so bad.

She doesn’t. I went to order a new one, but the one I want (Coleman 4 man with 5’ center for $40) is out of stock online, and the closest store is two hours away. I can get an Ozark 4’ center at Walmart for a similar price, but the less I have to bend down the better.
