@BantyChooks & @mlm Mike .. Is there a Halloween HAL this year? I wanted to set Duck Eggs.. It getting late now for baby quackers..
Do you guys need help with the HAL? PM me if so.
We found 3 chicks wandering around near or sun deck in the backyard yesterday. One of them has an eye pecked out, but stable condition I suppose. Put Popeye & the other 2 in a brooder. I suppose they are from a Broody Yard Bird.
Our feral birds are out of control. All of the BYC new yrs hal birds escaped and are total free as well.
Might be 30ish all together. They sleep together high in a tree above the Duck Compound.
Been crazy. Just me and hubby now, family all moved out. Been trying to get the farm back in order. Smack in the middle of swine season.
Quack quack 4 now..
