I took a shower, and put on a nightgown this morning to just putter about for a few hours.
The doorbell rings, and I was scrambling about for quick clothes.
A $150 dress was the closest thing. So I put it on, and opened the door to an egg customer. I just got rid of four dozen eggs yesterday, and had five eggs left in the house. I only have three hens, and they have slowed down for the winter. He wanted another two dozen.
I actually had to go to the coop wearing a full length dress. Worse, there is fertilizer most of the way up my boots, and I was covered in cobwebs while trying to avoid the dirty perch.

WOW looks like you know what your doing! Are you keeping track of time spent? Interested in that and also what you would do different as you go! I priced anvils on marketplace used, OMG they are expensive!

Get them. You want them and probably need them. You don't need to neuter them if both males and certainly not for that $$$. Total rip off.
It literally takes about 10 minutes to do properly.

And let's face it, untrained farmers hands castrate piglets daily, and they make it without even being sutured up.

ummm and untrained backyard breeders, due to the fact that the VET almost killed my baby goat, I am best to take care of the disbudding, banding and castrating. NOTE never use a cow iron to burn dwarf goat kids buds!! ughhhh idiot!! And I will not even go into my mulitple vet experiences with docking puppy tails yeezus!!!!

My last hatch was EEs, BA Red Ranger crosses and brown leghorns. I’ve got some going into lock down on Saturday that will be BA, BA X RR and EE.

I currently have 18 adult ducks, three 17 week olds and 39 ducklings (replacements I bought because mine aren’t laying.) I will be thinning my adult flock to my 5 Ancona’s and two crested Pekin hens.

We’re up to 20, we had about 27 but we’ve sold several and we had a problem with neighborhood dogs for a bit. (Which we’ve been working on fixing, LGD, electric fence around the bottom of the perimeter and such)

Not a whole lot. The weather is in the 80s and 50s.
