Well, USPS showed up earlier around 10:45 with a box from Cutler. As soon as I saw it I knew those fan assy’s couldn’t be in there. All that was in there were a bunch of new racks. Dang it. Pack slip said out of stock, shipped from mfr. Kiss my a$$. About 30 minutes later the FedEx guy pulled up with 2 new fan assys. Heck yeah. Cabinet is up and running again. Now we are getting it dialed in. When I built this cabinet, I put the 6” fan in it that GQF uses and heat element/insulators. This time around I got their new assy which comes in a metal housing with dual fans and heat element/insulators installed. Pushes same airflow and only about $17 more than just the old style motor.

Well it’s up and running for awhile. My setting haven’t moved much. Holding 99.8 in the top and 99.5 in the bottom. I went ahead and left my humidity pan cover the same as the old motor and brought the humidity right up to about 82 degrees wet bulb. which is where I normally run. About an hour ago I went ahead and moved my pan cover back to my hatch mark. Bang, brought it right up to 89 degrees wet bulb. Temp still beautiful. So I guess while the humidity is up, I’m going to move some quail over into it that lockdown tonite and load the rest with quail that I set a week ago. Not worried about the high humidity over the next couple days. Still leaves me plenty of time to draw down if I need to. Heck of a test run eh? Confidence. LOL

Those dumb little smart cars bug the heck out me and it’s not bad weather here. Somethings really wrong with a car that you can fit several in the truck bed and the owners are weaving in and out of semi trucks.
Still working on new coop. Making progress, if trees would stop falling I’d be quite a bit further along. Tomorrow is supposed to be another rain storm.
You should see them for my perspective behind the wheel of the semi. you won't believe how many times I've commented you through windshield after they cut me off or try to pull in front of me and stop and turn that I ask What are you doing trying to volunteer to be a speed bump...

I’ve got a 1939 9N out in the barn. It’s kind of an ornament and been in the family for way longer than I can remember. It fires right up and run likes a top. Looks like hammered hell though.
you don't know how much I wish I could find an older tractor that was semi easy to fix. It doesn't have to be able to do much, but boy if I could clean out the shed to move a couple round bales without having to use my pickup and my wheelbarrow it would be great. I'm too afraid to buy something though because I don't know how to fix it and I'm afraid I'd be out more money in the long than just paying someone with a tractor for help occasionally.
