EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

He's still kicking, but not quite as high as normal. Went through 5 radiation treatments in 7 days a couple weeks ago; have to go back later to see how the lung looks.

Scheduled a colonoscopy for this past Monday to see if the cancer had returned there (mass in the lung was matastisized colon cancer). Spent Sunday doing the prep, & by midnight was losing fluid faster than I could replenish it. Ultimately blacked out from dehydration; piled up on the floor. Spent the rest of the morning 'til 8 in the ER, then walked around the corner for the colonoscopy. Had some biopsies done from the colon, including a polyp that the doc didn't like the looks of.

Going to have chemo, much to my dismay; probably 6 months' worth. Not looking forward to that at all.

Brother died of cancer Tuesday morning in NC, 6 weeks after our oldest sister; lasted longer than I figured he would. Just turned 61 in February.

Other than all that, I'm fine; weather's nice, sun's shining, still have to look down to see the grass, and there are plenty of folks worse off than me.

Thanks for the concern...:hugs :love

Sorry to hear that. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

My Red Delicious is growing apples again! :th There are about ten that I’ve seen. Jonathan has some flowers that I think will fruit. I’m so hopeful that I actually get a bushel or so.
Cedar Apple Rust keeps killing my apples before they completely become apples. It didn't even bother to bloom this year, but so far there's no sign it still has it.
I was one of those regulars! It got so busy like said, and couldn't keep up .. Soo...yeah, so now I miss out on important things. Will come back in more often.
I post and then poof for a few days. I keep the tab open on my phone, but still forget to pop in.

Hi Raz! I'm terrible getting on here, too dang busy!! Too many kids and animals i.guess!!

Benny's you are making impressive keepsakes! Well done, love how unique they are!
Thanks Sall.
It is amazing how much tranquility this hobby is giving me.
I learne a lot. I have made an aluminum cast for my first time, and I learn how to join different metals without welding, just by using rivets and more and more... it's amaze me how much improvement I have achieved in a short time.
