I can do is leave them in the coop and run if they take him out on the run so much I can do during the daytime that's what they did last time. I really wasn't into raising chicks this year and I don't have a separate place for broody with her chicks.Oh man! Can u lock them up till its.over?
Yes, I get the di-methox 40% injectable without a script to use. It can be given orally or via injection. They really hate it orally though.I am on my last gallon of it. I bought the liquid before the rx crap. Y can we get it injectable and not powder or sol liquid? Weird. I will ask vet for rx when I need one. In another year lol. I do have injectable too, that can be used on goats via injection Yes?
@Sally Sunshine @campingshaws
well I watch the off out but I also have to feed extra Alfalfa to my boys around here because we have so much lime and stuff in our water.
we also have a lot of trouble with proper because it steals copper from them
Well I use multimin 90 twice a year. four to six weeks before breeding and a month before the kidding, so that helps with a lot of the things that or just low in. I also use loose minerals. the best way that I found a deal with minerals and they still waste is I just have these little containers and I just put a little bit out every few days or once a week depending on how often they're eating it. I also put out two different minerals. Sometimes they really eat one and sometimes the other. by just putting a little bit in multiple containers because I have so many animals that eat and keeps it from being out too long or hogged by one. tractor supply has these little black feeder things it's two pans in one and I usually hang several in the different shelters and put a little bit of baking soda one side and mineral the other or it'll be the two different types of mineral.Do u have to copper bolus or copper sulfate them like we fo here? Copper antagonists: lead, iron, manganese, various sulfates, cadmium, and molybdenum. My issue is they hay guys I purchased from haven't answers for my questions as to what their soil is lacking etc. I think most sell the hay for the old timer farmers around here. Any big farm operation uses their own stuff not sells it. Idk hay has me dumbfounded. I try to keep fresh minerals out but it's so humid and wet all year long it gets damp and they dont touch it until I put fresh in. How do u deal w that? They dont touch mineral blocks either.
Why did the vindictive chicken cross the road?
Because it crossed her first!
