EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I made two balls of sourdough wheat dough. One made it to the pan. The other was supposed to be cinnamon raisin bread, but I let Duckling take over the dough. She did everything, then noticed the dough scraper she knows how to use. Bread became rolls and buns.

... and the dog killed another chicken. This time ... well, it’s dead now. It was my extra rooster. Not a big loss, but I’ve had enough of the dog breaking his ropes, leads and even chain. He is in an elevated kennel until I get a better chain and hopefully a new Chicken run.

I'm sorry. He's going to be harder to deal with the more he kills. i hada stray cat show up at my place that was trying to hunt chicken c was just thinking about it stocking that he had to go find a new home. luckily he did or he would have been a dead cat at my place.

The darn post office screwed up with my eggs. I went to pick them up this morning, and they didn't have them. They told me they would probably be in tomorrow morning. So I left...but that just didn't seem right so I looked up the tracking and it said the package was out for delivery. I called the post office, and sure enough, they had taken it out despite the explicit instructions to hold and call. I told them they needed to take it back to the post office because the eggs would cook in a black, metal mailbox on a 95 degree day, and I was on my way out of town and wouldn't be able to get back until late evening. They told me they would try to get ahold of the carrier. I repeated that they HAD to get in touch with the carrier because they were going to kill my eggs if they didn't. The reply was that the eggs would have to finish the route with her.

So the eggs will have bounced across every dirt road in our rural county and then end up back at the post office another night because they couldn't follow simple instructions. :he

That sounds like the postal service. And people want government run health care :th
I am sorry about your eggs. If they are insured I would file a complaint because unfortunately they will be far less likely to be any good at all, and the aircells ? :fl
