Wait, is the handle made from those leather squares? How marvelous! My dad's old hunting knife has a similar handle and I never imagined this was how it was made.

The leather disc are stacked one over the other with epoxy glus in between and squeezed by the metal plate and the DIY bolt ( I made the threaded coils and the bolt with screw-tap and screw die) and after the glue dried I sanded it.
