Someone save me. I casually mentioned that I was thinking about putting that egg in the incubator and now dad has me looking for eggs to go in with it. Problem is, I can't find any local. What have I done?

1st chick is still not ready, but four are in the brooder, and another was racing out of its shell as I was putting the first back after checking it.

For whatever reason he only wants me to get local eggs.

Six out, one still teasing me. I’m expecting at least another six, up to ten. I suspected 17 were viable, but didn’t toss the other eggs.
