awwww that was the first time? I am sorry you had to cull. It always is sad. Glad to see you found us!

Yes, I have hatched I think 5 times now & have been lucky enough to have all my chicks pull through & be healthy even when they had issues at hatch. This was the first time I have had a chick getting worse instead of better. It was definitely very sad.

I still have 11 healthy ones though, they are 4 weeks old now & getting big! Looks like I have at least a few pullets in there too.

My last guineas were pied and had lots of white feathers. So this is new for me too!

Did you know that because of the did you know thread, I find myself starting almost all of my posts with "did you know" and having to stop myself.

I've been lucky so far, that any of my chicks that have died, died in shell and not after being born.

All my chicks that have hatched, have survived, so far.
