lol, I asked him to help me clean the house up when he got home, he said okay.let me know if you are still married in a couple weeks
LOL whatever workslol, I asked him to help me clean the house up when he got home, he said okay.
I will ask instead, to have him get to work on the three pens I need made... so the birds can leave the house in the next 2-4 weeks.
I just need to catch up on my paid work, so I can clean the house. I involved the kids in the... art projects for the eggs today, so I'll give them a break from the rest of their school work today, and make them go play outside while I clean LOL
Well, I can try to build the pens myself, but he thinks i'm a menace when it comes to tools. He has these horrible mental images of me impaling myself on accident with a nail gun... so i'm usually banned from touching the tools.LOL whatever works
luckily you can make that choice
Sorry for the problems.4 baby chicks arrived alive. Put them in with my solo silkie hatchling.
3/4 ducks were alive... put them in with the other 2 ducks.
It is probably weak from hunger and thirst. Electrolytes are the key.One of the little chicks is falling on it's back and acting kind of sickly. I wrapped it in a paper towel and have it sitting on my desk in a bowl. It's chirping at me and more active now... but the way it was acting in the brooder, I was worried it was going to die![]()
Thank you.Good morning everybody. Glad to see MC and Banty are feeling better today.
We got lots and lots of rain and a good thunder storm going but no wind. Yay!!! Two more storms to go.
Awe! You too?I don't know what just happened... Went to the grocery store and started to get big stomach pains... They went away.. Came home did a butt load of dishes and cleaned the kitchen and now I just feel icky... Run down kind of dizzy.... Gonna lay down a bit with the fan on and just read the threads to relax for a bit... Hopefully this passes quickly.

Not meeeee!Me too!!
You got some good advice. I don't have any Nigerian Dwarf goats, but they are supposed to be nice goats and good foragers that eat things even other goats won't. If you get yours young I would have them disbudded. That way they will be easier on your fences(I do it since I work long hours and don't want to come home to a goat that got its head caught and died). If you do it, it has to be all of yours that are together or the one that has horns will not play nice (bully). I also agree that does are more mellow and friendly.I made a deal with my daughter that if she takes care of all of the indoor pet chores (feeding, watering, litter boxes, cleaning fish tank, cleaning up messes from animals, etc) for 70 days straight, without missing any days, that we will get some goats. We made a big calendar on our dry erase board to track her progress. If she misses a day she has to start over on the count.
So.... what kind of goats should we get? We only want them as pets, but it would be great if they help keep the pond overgrowth under control too. I only want to get 2. Suggestions? @daxigait
and @Sally Sunshine
and anyone else with goats ? ?
