Pics from yesterday. Arts fundraiser.

We didn't go to Brew in the Lou Saturday because it was $50 to get in (Lutheran Schools fundraiser). 100 beers from 40 local breweries, wine and food samples from many area restaurants as well as a chili cookoff. Basically all you can eat and drink.



Did I mention the blackberry ancho chili bbq sauce was killer?

They do tend to get old fast. Happy Birthday to him.

I'm alright. Processed a rooster and a duck yesterday. For the duck I did a rough dry plucking at first, to get the top layer of feathers and also the primary wing feathers. Then scalded it and used the drill plucker. Worked out pretty good. Now the wife just needs to find a recipe for it.
