My brother got married in the Tyler Rose garden in May, don't remember the year. Although the ceremony was in the morning, it was just too hot. Then I went to Dallas a few times for work, always in July or August, it was just too hot to be outside.

I forgot to post this..... Sally, here's my favourite banana bread recipe. I got it from a friend a while back.

Banana Bread

2c flour
2/3c brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2-3 tsp cinnamon- I just shake a bunch in
2 mashed bananas
1/3c melted butter
2 Tbsp milk
2 eggs

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Then add the banana, butter, milk, and eggs. Stir completely, and put in a loaf pan. Bake @ 350 for 55-60 min.

Yum.

Just made the kids egg breakfast tacos. My oldest apparently is still in his "I hate egg" phase.... but when I threatened to eat them, he gobbled them up LOL

Hey everybody-life is good. Party for my nephew went well-after 4 years the drama has settled down.
@ChickenCanoe Tulum may have to wait because of my wrist. We may just do Vegas for a few days to get away-Bill has never been there. So sad about the drama toward @cjwaldon what an angel she is and a class act! Looks like my Serama eggs wont be here until Monday. I am going to take @Sally Sunshine advice and set them up after them warm to room temp and see what happens. Only insured for the $50-but hey what can you do-I read and agreed to the shipping terms. it wasnt the sellers fault and I do believe if I dont get a decent hatch, the seller will give me a good deal on more eggs if I want. Bill went to the store yesterday so there IS Coffee Creamer!!!
