EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

usually beats don't scare me but this one walked right behind me as I'm sitting at ground level. We have a lot of bears here so seeing them isn't rare. Every now and again though one will try to establish its dominance then it can be a little scary.
I had to shoot at one a few years ago in my yard cuz it wouldn't go away when i tried chasing it out of my yard. It got on its hind legs and walked toward me. A couple shots by its foot and out ran away.

I might add.... I had a big old husky at the time.... She hid behind me..... :)

Dang.... Now I'm tearing up... I miss that old dog.... Her name was Cola.... White husky with the bluest eyes I've ever seen

Quote: You'd be proud of me. One less feral cat scoping out my birds. He's been around for quite a while, but travelling across the yard, minding his own business, so I let him alone. This time he was right behind the run. He's still behind the run, but he's now assumed room temperature.
