I have two broad breasted white turkeys growing out. They are about the only poultry here that might want to cuddle

I certainly have no cuddlers. I can only handle them just after dusk. Later in the night or near dawn, they're ballistic if something touches them.

mine get chased around by my kids so much, and we use food to bribe them that as long as you have something that looks remotely edible, they'll get pretty close.

As to the ducks, that's a different story. They are very easily herd where we want... they don't come to you though and they don't stray far from their water pool or their house. LOL

I have a feeling the ducks may never warm up to us. The roosters herd them around the pen, too, LOL

And, the main reason I wanted to get ahold of my roo, was to get a better look at his comb. I wanted to comfirm the diagnoses of avian pox/fowl pox... I've seen signs of it on my other rooster and on random birds.... All 3 of my flocks outside have it/had it.... so I just have to wait for them to get better. Haven't lost a bird to it yet, but they've all showed various signs of exposure. I just wanted to get a better look at his comb/feet.

Apparently. He's our alpha roo in this pack. It's 6 girls and 2 roos. I have no problem eating which ever one isn't nice... but so far, we've had zero issues with them and they are 4+ months old. I expect the girls to start laying sometime in the next few weeks hopefully.... but being EE's, they were handed hours per day from 3 day old birds when they got here, went through a skittish phase and now are warming up to us again.
