Well, if you're right it sure saves on ultrasoundsShoot, he won't even bother pregnant people or animals. That's why I think my goats are pregnant, he stopped herding the does the way he used to, now he gently guides them where he wants while he still herds the buck the same he always has.

I just do a couple of important ones. I also have a group with a first year buck and several first time does. My vet charges 15 for the first and five each on the extras so the only real hassle is the trip.Well they (I have 2 dogs) knew my oldest sister was pregnant before she did so I trust their judgement
They're just brush goats, not worth getting an ultrasound, they'll kid sooner or later. That's Bucks proven, he used to be my uncles.

The leg hooks work pretty well. I had made 2 prior to breaking down and buying one. The one I bought is much stiffer. You sometimes have to adjust the gap for different size birds.I've considered one of them myself. How effective are they in daylight? I can't picture a spooked bird that doesn't want to be caught letting itself get hooked.
The first 2 I can do, hold the worms.Calamari sub with clam juice and fried worms!
I don't get nearly as much done without a list.I rarely have an agenda for the day, just make it up as I go.
I remember that from the book "Sugar Blues"....
To make brown sugar you need one cup of white sugar and one tablespoon of molasses. Mix the two together — this job is faster if you use an electric mixer — until completely incorporated. Use it or store it — it doesn't matter, because you just made brown sugar.
...
I've installed lots of solar thermal and solar water panels on homes, industrial and government buildings.
I was fortunate to get 5 cockerels butchered yesterday. The coop fairy came up to help. I slaughtered and gutted and she plucked.@Fire Ant Farm Hi! Yes, you can just search goat polio. There is a good article on Tennesseemeatgoats.com
Good luck getting the chores done. I was going to get power strung and dug to the red coop yesterday, but the goat that got sick was at my friend's place and then she wanted help with a project before she left. By the time I got done, took the goat home and sectioned off a shed with a couple of panels for Eclipse I was out of daylight. I despise the short days and regular time. I really wish we stayed on Daylight savings time year round.
