Sure did. We don't need the meat that bad, & I'm not going to take one as nice as he promises to be 'til he gets some nice bucks on the ground. I doubt he's more than a 3 yr old. He probably won't live through the season, 'cause not everyone around here feels like I do about getting some really nice bucks in the gene pool, but at least I won't be the one to take him out.

.I've never seen a thin day in my life! 5'8", 190 lb ain't what you'd call thin. DW's only 4'9" and she'll make 140, at least.
I generally get 2 deer a year, so we've always got venison in the freezer, and eat it quite often.

OMG that stuff is edible????? NO WAY!!
I LOVE me some fruitcake! DW makes sure I get one every year. One year we bought two of them; ate one & soaked the other in rum, wrapped it up tight in tinfoil, and stuck it in the closet. Along about August I started thinking about it...by Christmas it was history
