EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

X2

If I've got a roo that doesn't like me, I respect his space and leave him be except for occasional louse and weight checks. I've prevented one, maybe two from turning bad that way... He was starting to posture when I came near him, so I completely dropped all contact for a few weeks. He's good now.

I definitely respect their space. Mine doesn't posture. my alpha roo WAS posturing me, so I picked him up and started carrying him around with me. Now he doesn't posture. He lets me pick him up and tolerates it. Although, the roo that's skeered of me, he did get chased by the other rooster away from me once he decided I was part of his flock. (or whatever his little bird brain decided on where I fit into the scheme of things.)

I seriously nearly get swarmed though when I have buckets of feed. LOL
