With snow 9 months of the year, I deduce you're too far away. Also they'd die of shock in my nice warm weather. It was 74 yesterday.

Not having to keep them locked up and feed their silly butts for 9 months would make them way more likeable.

Yum, sauerkraut! I could eat that everyday. Heck, I have a big plate full in front of me lol
My muscovies go in the chicken coop with the chickens and have a kiddie pool to swim in when they feel the need, though more often than not, they prefer wandering through the yard to swimming. My coop is a few feet off the ground and they have no issues climbing the ramp up and down to get in.

My ducks do too.
I have a jar of kraut from about three years ago. Assume it's still fine. I'm not brave enough to try it.

The kraut I'm eating is from 2014 lol. We made it and canned it ourselves and it's delicious! Half my family was eating the same stuff from the same batch. We still have so much that I doubt we'll make more this year and still be eating this next year!

I'd actualy love some snow. All we have is cold and rain :/ If it's going to be cold, it might as well be pretty too.

I would beg to differ, a hungry Turkey is a better friend..
