Well, I have to go clean poop boards, put out hay, and fill all kinds of waterers before the game so I will chat latter. Have a nice afternoon.

yes-84/100. asa scores type tail carriage wing carriage feather quality condition and character. top 3 or 4 qualifying scores from each class-cock hen pullet cockerel go for best of class and then top 4 birds overall get brought back on table for champion and grand champion. so its possible for a bird with an initial lower score to beat a bird with a higher score based on the final rounds of judging. so much more fun than cage!. Is 100 the best? That was really good at 84. Competition can be so much fun in the right environment.

Funniest thing I saw at the show was a sebright whos owner had to write on their cage card "I Bite-Hard!"Sounds like it. I really don't think much of the cage competition. Unless mine LF was only raised in cages it really isn't fair for them.
No fun to cook for myself.

If your serama gets aggressive toward another bird on the table it gets one chance-birds being birds-if it attacks again then its supposed to be an automatic DQ. One of my best bird friends had a bird that scored a 94-thats almost impossible. the judge thought the other bird might have potential and let it slide and "strut"-it attacked my friends bird and took off part of it's comb-permanent deduction forever on a near perfect bird-so sad! I breed more for character and temperament on tabletop than I do for color since tabletop is colorblind. I would rather have a good personable showy bird with green legs that I can breed to a yellow legged bird than a mean bird any day!Judges hate biting birds.
I saw a rooster draw blood on a judges hand. He told me it was the best rooster at the show but he wasn't going to allow that SOB to get any accolades.
cause bird people are weird??Why would anyone in their right mind even enter a bird like that, unless they enjoy making donations?
