I forgot to mention I got 2, eggs from my legbars that give me the white legbar chicks! I am so happy.. They have not laid an egg in months..

I am not so happy 50% of said eggs were froze and cracked. which means the other one might be dead too.. But it is a start. I so love white legbars. I would be happy if they were my only breed,,almost.

i have 3 ees laying and 1 spitz, but i think the rest are all boys, not sure, my husband volunteered me giving pullets to a friend of his, so i lost 6 pullets over the weekend

so now when i set eggs again i am blaming him, i am also blaming him for giving away all my girls and NONE of the boys, he will be blamed when i have to use the little coop as a bachelor pad until i can figure out what to do with all these friggin cockerels!

That's usually a good thing. Unless those accidents happen outside the home, then it can be a little embarrassing.
