Same here. I've been getting the old "You've already submitted this reply" message for the past two weeks off and on.

So Missouri has declared a 'State Of Emergency' two days before we get hit by the oncoming ice storm. They are calling for up to a half inch of ice in our area by the end of Sunday with heavy rains following. I took all my new nets down that I had just got up last week

and locked the main flock in their coop. I am not their favorite human today. The wood box is full and DH is on his way out to fill the wagon with more. He heard that MoDOT was out yesterday already applying salt/beet juice mixture to the roads in preparation. Can't condemn them for their foresight. I bought groceries on Wednesday so we are all stocked up. If the electricity goes out, I don't care. I can cook on the wood stove and have plenty to do besides watch tv and hang out on the computer.

If it doesn't do what they say it is going to do, I am going to be really really, ticked off.

On a bright note, I found one source for black OEGB eggs and one for bantam Cochins. Then I have my Amish neighbor as a standby. I think I'm set. I'm not going to hatch any standard sized chicken this year only Bantams. Only 1 and 1/2 months left till March.
