Ahh..     I have 4 foam incubators and 3 cabinets and my hatcher.  The WWD thinks I have too many. but what does she know...

Wife actually got into the hatching process (she kept the eggs warm while the power was out) this last go round so maybe a hatcher is in the works.

I am going to order Cornish X chicks soon, Where is a good place to order from and dont charge a bunch for shipping and guarantee them delivered live?

I got mine from Hoover and was extremely happy with them. I have gotten several batches and never gotten a dead one. My Brother lives in NC and he ordered from them based on my luck and was real happy with his too....

I doubt it make much difference though where they come from.

Good morning Sally. I'm not sure I got my only Cornish X from the feed store. They all survived to butcher but I'll probably not keep them again.

24/7 food is counterproductive in CX's


I only feed twice a day for 20 minutes each, then when they can free range I cut back to one feeding in the evening...

And move the water as far from the feed as you can.

Morning Sunshine Yea that's the one out in OH near Mike. Shipping rate from them to PA is dependent on how many chicks you order.
