I have never seen any on that side of the fence, I have seem them come up to the fence and eat off the apple trees that are in the does small pasture.
My main reason for quitting goats was the deer kept running through them faster than I could rebuild them. They were juiced & plenty low enough for a deer to jump easily; didn't matter.
Running through the fence rather than jumping it, is rather odd.

Eight babies will be sold to finish fencing my property. I would like to keep two this year. I know from ultrasound that I have several carrying multiples. Twins are for me triplets a blessing that go to Compassion or CICM.

I used high tensile aluminum wire rather than steel. Not as strong, but I'd rather round up a stray animal than put down one that got tangled & couldn't free itself before something broke, like a leg.
