then turn away! gently of courseNope! Straight from my coop! (except for the ones the girls decided to lay on the ground...)

Yes, very careful... You should have seen the sign I put on the bin I was storing the eggs in! BIG red letters, which summed up said DON"T YOU DARE TOUCH THIS OR ELSE!!!then turn away! gently of course![]()
When you look at an egg, it's hard to imagine a (wonderful) duck starts here. That someday a duck might hatch from an egg, an egg that looks like any other one you scramble up for breakfast. It's quite amazing...
they are so sweet

Ducks are sweeter!Yeah.I was talking to my girls(eh um, my chickens)this morning, and I said,"Do you belive you came from THIS?"if course, Indigo just cocked her head and sat on my feetthey are so sweet![]()

I love this quote.
The older I get the truer it is.

C'mon guys, FOCUS!
I asked a question about two pages back and still no answer. This is EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION AND HATCHING isn't it? I appreciate the lively conversation. I started my nursing career as an OB LABOR/DELIVERY/NURSERY nurse and could write a lot about why things work the way they do and what happens when they don't go right even when everything is done by protocol but that is not what my question was about.
Would somebody please page back and toss an answer out for me?Anything? I'm not asking for much. My husband just asked me if anybody answered my question for me because he had asked me and I didn't know the answer and I had to tell him no, they were talking about C-Sections and his reply was "On Chickens?"
I have a duck.
NUH UH.Chickens.Ducks are messy and wet. Chickens are clean and dry.
