Our neighbor down the street was outside with flashlights, checking their power outside... so i don't think it's just us. ^.^

I had that happen once and it was the lug on the transformer that had come loose and I was only getting 50% of the juice the other feed was disconnected.

Correction.They can live to 7.I have a pet BR named Bea, she will be 8 in May.She has survived many hawk attacks and a huge gash was takin out of her rear when she was 4.She has survived much.

I know I have a couple 5 year olds, but they are just freeloaders now. If I had any business sense I would make them into an animal by-product.      Instead I feed their sorry butts, day in and day out.  The one  has taken to sleeping in a nest box.  I do not even have the heart to kick her out of the box.

But I  counseled her on what bad manners it was to spend a night in the nest box, when she never lays eggs anymore.  She even sits in it during the day.  BUT its Bert's  great Grandma and I know he would be upset at me if I did her in.

Sounds like yours aren't pets mine are my children.And, Bea just stopped laying when she started molting in 2016.

Agree with Ralphie. Half power coming in from transformers and best to turn all off till power company gets it squared away.

Call your utilities. They will have to check it.

But she can't play with the chicks in a pot on the stove....


I worry the WWD might get ducks some day.......She liked them at the poultry shows last year. I would be busy doing important things, like talking Turkey or chicken and she would come over and drag me to look at a duck.


She really liked the little call ducks, which is worse than having a dux, it would be like owning a miniature Chihuahua.   Other than soccer dog practice what good are they?

I AM SO CONFUSED. My house has "some" power - ot enough to make our well fill up, not enough to turn my desktop on, turn lights on, or keep my incubator's temp on....

It has enough to charge my phone, have my wifi/router up, my laptop, and like a tiny fan light and our fridge. Our AC has enough juice to show that it's on, and the temp, but not enough juice to turn it on.

You probably already have but if not turn everything off. 1/2 power is worse than power outage.

Everything is off, except my wifi router/laptop and cell phone.

I had to cover my incubator with a towel, trying to save it.

Hot water bottles from water heater might help.
