I've had plenty of help. Son & his buddy were here for a few days post-surgery; they actually got the gable ends closed in. Two days later DIL flew in from WI & has been here since. She'll go home this week. Just be me & DW after that 'til 1st week of March, when she goes back to work.

Glad to hear you got some help on those gables. Been thinking about the shed. Really glad family is able to help.

Me too. There's really only two main roads through this area. The 5 and 99 both were flooded. Son mumble something about the road being closed on his way to bed. They were open on his way here today.

It is now, they took the entire power out for about 8 hours.

Yes it does.

So I know you've been told this a thousand times already but there's going to be a time where you need to get something done and it's above your weight limits. Your going to think heck I can do this I'm not going to bother anyone I'll just do it myself. DON'T!!!

This coming from a guy that did. I wish a thousand times I didn't.

So far so good. Have to get chicken chores done before rain starts. Then probably house work for rest of day.

Does that happen often?

nope. lived here locall for about 3 years now, and never had this happen before. Normally if we lose power, it's due to wind storms.
