Very true on the therapy part.

It's coz I have my touch keyboard set to British English so it won't monkey with my spelling... It's a pain in the behind to select the dollar sign, so if you see me use "£" just blame it on my keyboard, eh?

Agree chopping, lopping or wringing simply doesn't work well. Messy and messes with quality of meat. I'm not lucky enough to have the help. Neighbor has offered to learn but our times haven't lined up.

I only did 100 a day a couple times before I had chickens a neighbor raised them for a group of us. We just had to pay feed cost and show up to butcher. Now it is me and the boys...sometimes just me and no boys because it can be more work with the little ones

The most I've done alone is 14 and I was highly motivated. Now 5 a day is it. Just takes more days that's all. I skin and part the bird in one hanging.

Agree on little ones. Once the grandsons were "helping" with some turkeys. Took more pictures than anything else. Which I promptly told them to delete. Since they couldn't share with their friends they weren't interested in helping. They would now but they are much older and have better things to do.
