It had - long enough to clear out all babies from house. Actually, they are all laying now. Then I hatched some silkies over Thanksgiving, then some Silverudd Blues for New Years. I help off. Got them outside and then everyone started putting these beautiful eggs up at the auction and I'm back going nuts.
I have Spangled Sussex, Heritage RIR, Barred Rock, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Blue Wyandottes and Silkie/Sizzle eggs in the bator. And I have in transit Olive Eggers from GardenWren and Seramas and Bantam EE's from TJChickens.
My parents used to raise broilers a hundred at a time.
