Hi Mr. B
yes, I think they do. Not a light egg flavor, very pungent like??? not sure what word to use there. say beef vs venison Deer being the duck or goose
you had bald eagle eggs??? and Hello!

Bald eagle eggs? Nah, just popping in 'PWI' , just spur of the moment thinking of something a dude from Alabama would have said

In all comparison though, to me it's what your used to I guess, I'm sure if your used to duck eggs or turkey eggs they're fine, I just thought they were odd. Might have been the texture/flavor but the thought just keeps you dwelling on it while your eating them so I never really ate them only once, twice maybe, dogs loved them.
Never pickled the duck eggs but I did do a gallon of huge turkey eggs once though and everyone loved them.
Pickled eggs changes the texture/flavor anyway, and after a bunch of brews anything edible is yummy

The whole milk vs 2% debate, I don't notice a difference, try to pass a light brew off to me as a real one and I bet $$ I call you out on it though Lol!
What your used to, never had corned beef growing up, ham was always in our boiled dinners. First time I tried corned beef at the time new in-laws, they asked how I liked it... "tastes like what I'd imagine horse meat would taste like"... I almost got beat up Lol!
Now I love the stuff! even make my own corned venison.
