EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

My kids put eggs in at three different dates. Four are day 24. Dated 2/20. That's why I was wrong about the cracked egg to begin with. I thought it was a 2/20, but was 2/26. I see movement in all of them. They are all due within 6 days of each other. Temp 100-101 and humidity 70-74 now.

Ahh... Gotcha.

No drawdown?

It's taken some trust building, a quiet house, and regular play time with their favorite toy, but we are getting there. I cancelled the vet visit for this weekend. We aren't at the point where I can really handle them or catch them - at least without doing real damage to our growing trust. I'll take them later.
I want to come visit you, Kaj and your animal babies

No; it's where the AC grows and tilts to the side in preparation for internal pip.

Yes they are definitely lower on one side. I can't say that all of them are, but most. Another thing I noticed is that a few eggs have movement mostly toward the bottom, pointed part. Does this mean the chicks are likely still head down?

Does the age of the hens have anything to do with this? They are 7.5 months old.

We sell a product called Feliway at our Vet Clinic. It's a pheromone spray you can put on the cats' beds, etc. It takes away anxiety and aggression.. I wouldn't say that it works on all cats, but for the ones it does work on it's amazing. You can find it on Amazon I believe too.. might be worth a shot to relax the kitties.
