So I just went home and emptied the 4Runner (packed to the gills with bedding and chick starter, and Sweet PDZ and cat food and cat littler and grit and extra buckets, and probably more stuff I'm forgetting - I tend to wait and do all my shopping at once). Taking a break before I start working again. I think I'll sand and seal some lumber, then work in the garden while it dries, then sand and seal more, lather, rinse, repeat. (I used a non-toxic sealant on regular frame lumber rather than pressure treated for the coops.)

QUESTION:
I am going to be gone tomorrow from about 7 to at least 9 probably later. Tomorrow night some of the magpies will be 2 days old, if all the eggs haven't hatched yet tomorrow morning should I put the hatched and dried out ones in the brooder so they can eat, 'cause I now the extra yolk lasts about 2 days and I don't want them to be hungry, but is it safe?!

if you are quick about it you can take them out but make sure to throw a wrm/wet paper towel in to boost the humidity
 
Ugh. Mc the malpositioned pipper has her bill in the pip and is moving it, but does not seem to have any progress and the membrane sticking out is totally dry. Hope she is okay.
