That makes me tired just reading it. Good luck with everything!!! Hope you can get some sleep - sounds like you're gonna need it!Busy busy, had the pellet stove half installed and the internet went out. Ran new phone line guessing a mouse chewed it. Hauled 100 bails home for the beef. Made the 2 hr round trip to the Dr. With the 6 yr olds ear infection. Did this right after I made the 1.5 hr round trip to get phone wire. Spent time with every animal. Need to burtcher a couple toms before they breed the poor hen to death. The sour crop is not fully gone so I picked up monistat today. One chicken is missing feathers on the top of her back just in front of her tail. Just going to watch it for a couple days. Have no idea what caused it. Doesn't look like I missed any young roosters when butchered 2 weeks ago. All quail are well, added a light hoping they start laying soon. Thinking of shipping 2 beef that are not going to build the frames I want. The 2 angus and 1 Hereford will get bread this fall for sure. Guessing the 2 Charlotte steers will be ready to burtcher around Christmas. Second round of wormer to the 3 dogs. Got the house in order for the community garden meeting that was here tonight. On tap for this week. Finish pellet stove install, Dr. 2 chickens, take pics of beef for BYC friends, build 2 greenhouse kits for community garden if it is not to windy, if it warms up need to burtcher 2 turkeys. Need to lock down for Saturday hatch. Found quail eggs $.50 each good looking birds less than an hr away. Back cracker on Tuesday and Back Dr. On Friday. If I get that done can start bathroom remodel, 5 sons with there dads aim, I am putting a urinal in there bathroom.
Opal must have never been at the window at the same time I was doing chores, but she saw me collecting eggs this evening, and it kinda freaked her out a bit - you can see it in her face. "What on earth are you doing out there with the CHICKENS???!!!"
Oh, and guess what! I have little apples developing!!!! They are on the Ein Shemer apple tree. Hoping the Annas are next.
I am now clean, but fading, so I bid you all adieu. I am going to try to get the tractor for the Puppy chicks done by next weekend (got all the lumber sanded and sealed, but I need to cut the pieces and put in the lap joint cuts), as they really need to go outside ASAP. Lots of other stuff is overdue as well (including my garden transplants being put in). If I could take the next 3 months off of work and work sun up to after dark 7 days a week, I think I still wouldn't get everything done...
