CONGRATS ALL!!!

Edit: @BantyChooks
Honas are done. 11 chicks hatched, 2 with leg problems. 6 were alive at lockdown and died. 2 internally pipped then died. So 11 of 19.

@ChickenCanoe

I changed the feed a couple weeks ago anticipating these results. How long before I test hatch again?

I was getting low rates on my shipped eggs, so I wanted to be sure. I was feeding Dumor layer pellets and switched to feather fixer layer pellets. It was the easiest thing to test first because it was the easiest fix. You had mentioned that average layer feed nutritionally wasn't enough for strong hatching.

Not sure what happened in the bator but one bulb is out and the fan isn't turning. It's just a chick hospital at the moment, but I only have a couple days to figure it out.

Check the plug

Where's that tongue-wagging emoji?
I would, but the tstat and the other bulb are still going. I think the bulb blew and the fan came unwired.

Or the fan overheated and shut down and the bulb blew out.
Is the fan dirty?
