EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

I know right, that's wha

My incubator type is styrofoam and they said humidity should be 101.5.

Ok temp is good must be a still air styrofoam incubator. No fan.
I'm still concerned about humidity 60-65 seems high. The air cell must develop over the next 18 days for them to hatch well. I'm quite certain that's listed for you in the beginning of this thread. Lots of good stuff there. The picture is hard to see if there's an air cell developing or not.

Have you calibrated your thermometer and hygrometer to make sure they are accurate?

Yeah the only thing that I'm worrying is the air sack there is nothing there, should I lower the incubator humidity

I would. Most folks here who have had good success hatching start at about 30% humidity. You'll follow the air cell size to see how you're doing (you might need to run dry for a while until you "catch up" if you've been that high). I personally find that it's easier to track weight loss (expected is 0.65% per day) so I don't have to squint at the air cell and ask myself "is that ok looking?" You'd need the weight of each egg before setting them in the incubator (so maybe you can try that next time).

DEFINITELY recommend reading all the notes and links at the beginning of this thread.
