What happens when Mr. Bear ignores your spray?  Will the guide be able to stop him in his tracks if the situation goes south in a hurry?

If you're out in grizzly territory, don't bother with the spray... He'll just think you're pre-seasoning yourself.

ETA: Despite me being sarcastic about it, it supposedly is actually a fairly effective defense.

I will have a guide in the Tetons so it is their deal. I will be by myself in Yellowstone unless things change. I have a camp site the first night near another group which is good. The second I won't. I won't not live just for the outside chance. Bear spray is supposed to be very good. I am also going later in the summer when many of the bears will have moved up to higher ground according to the rangers. No guarantees though.

I just wish I knew how to fly fish, and had the equipment.
You can fly fish with a telescoping spinning rod, you know. Tie a clear plastic bobber (the kind you can fill with water) to your main line, a length of leader material to the bottom of the bobber, & the fly, bug, or popper to the end, & have at it. Need a longer cast?....add some water to the bobber.

Its a type or neurostimulator. I hook up 4 sticky pad electrodes and the machine basically electrocutes me so i feel that pain instead of my normal pain :P :gig It sounds weird but it does help some. I have to put the pads highr up my arm though-anything touching my hand or wrist  more than 10 minutes or so is unbearable :(

Wonder why we were called crazies?
