EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

12 eggs in 1 $??
We pay 3$ for 10 eggs.........
Shalom Benny. We used to pay more, but there are several factors. We usually have low egg prices because of the number poultry operations in this area. Prices were really high everywhere after the disease hit and took out so many US layers. Thus, they hatched tons to replace those birds, and since it happened at the same time, they are all at peak production at the same time. We usually pay .99-1.50 a dozen. It went up to three something, then the bottom dropped out, and I have seen 58-99¢ a dozen recently. The lowest price was a promotion for those that buy Easter Eggs.

Shalom dax, here eggs are MUCH MUCH more then food!
All the egg production is controlled by government and they give allotting to farmers especially those that live along the borders. In that case we have people inhabiting ouer border = more security and they get a very needed income source!
If I will have 11or more commercial white layers (Hyline) I will brake the low!

Food is really expensive in my area. There's really no reason for it other than the fact that most people here work for Apple or Google so they think we can afford to pay a lot of money for everything.

You should see the house prices in my neighborhood too, 1.5 million for a 1400 square foot house. That's why we are moving.
