We gave serious consideration to moving north, but I don't want to deal with 40+ years accumulation of "stuff" I may need some day, to say nothing of having to start all over at our ages. It may come to that (or part of it) eventually, but I'll stick here as long as I'm able; too much of my life gone into this place.

Makes sense. I hear ya on the stuff you might need 'someday'...

It's been rather nice having it slow; (automatically wrote "snow" there) makes me get up and do the work I've been putting off.
