EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Thank you. This little EE is very quiet and sweet. I've ordered Ameraucana eggs, and was originally thinking of rehoming these two (and will the red if it's roo), but as sweet as the EE is, I just have to keep her.
thats great
ee's have great personalities and are usually more prolific layers than their pure bred counter parts

the best person to ask is @junebuggenaon the sexing Easter Eggers thread, but usually the ones with a lot of red on their wings are males I remember that much.

The red one is not an EE. It's just a production red. Prob RIR mix or similar. The lighter chick is the EE. It was labeled Ameraucana, but I know better. I wasn't asking for either one, but they were given to my kids. They are both friendly, so as long as red one doesn't crow, they can stay.

You missed your calling; should have been a weather man

I would have but my rate of being correct is 50%, that would have made me exceptional in the weather business..

And way too good to be a climatologist also as they have to be somewhere are 3% correct or we would never have global warming in our future.

At 50% Maybe I could become a blackjack player?

@Fire Ant Farm

You working off plans for your tractors, or just winging it?
Thinking about trying one, so the birds can "get out"

 without actually getting out (and staying out of DW's precious flower beds)

DW was gunning for chicken dinner yesterday. Guess her bed of daffodils disappeared. Don't know what her problem was the things only bloom for a little bit. They didn't eat them just tore them up a little bit and destroyed the flowers.
:oops:

I suggest a muzzle to help with the future crowing issue, the stance and thick legs make me think you have a cute lil boy....

But I am wrong 50% of the time.

Im starting to think it's a boy too, that's why I'm asking you guys. Wattles are red now too... Hopefully we are wrong.
