In all seriousness, it is good to work on your spelling, because people will often make assumptions about someone's intelligence (which may not be correct) based on misspellings, and when you get older, misspellings in important documents or communications can cause trouble. It'll come, you're learning, but do work on it.

Many of us type fast and make mistakes - there's an edit button for your posts, and you can go back and correct something if you need to. I do it all the time when I find a spelling or grammar error in what I post (I always take a quick second to check). And while my spelling is pretty good, if I'm not sure, I always take a minute to look something up quickly (Google, etc.) to make sure I'm spelling it right, or using the word correctly (and I'm in my 40s with several academic degrees!). I actually think being online has the potential to improve writing skills a lot more than when I was a child when no one wrote letters but email wasn't invented yet. I'm just glad I don't have to voice type like some do - those posts can be really messed up.

As Liz said, we're a raucous group, and if it sounds like we're picking on you , it's never meant to be mean or hurtful. Tell us if you want us to stop. :thumbsup

(I just looked up raucous to be sure I was spelling it right. I was, but still... :lol:)

You must be using the Texas version of the dictionary; that's where all them there $10 words like "raucous" are found :lau

I got a text from someone today wanting to know if I had any cream legbar chicks or pullets for sale. I actually thought about hatching some for him for a microsecond. (Must be out of my mind.) :th

The delivery people are here, and are wonderful - as has always been my experience. (Again, it's the scheduler who screwed up). They're in there switching around the door and wedging it into place (it's a tight fit). I had to cancel my 11am meeting, hoping I can make the noon one...
