Wrong time of year; the meat's not very tasty (or so I'm told) & they're carrying this fall's young.

Yep wrong time. But these things are proliferating too fast here. So maybe in season I'll take one. Same thing with the wild turkey.

Sorry photo isn't much. There's three in there two bucks and a doe. The deer aren't very big here. Too many of them.

Well, in the meantime, his mealworms are starving, eh.

Naw I'll just move grain into barn. They completely ate all but what was stuck on the screens

It's really bad here. While taking a picture of a cat that was obviously dropped off by someone and he's adopted us there was a doe in the background photobombing.
Last year 3 does had sets of twins with them. So 9 deer would parade through our yard every evening.

Be glad they didn't have triplets; they often do when browse is plentiful in thier home territory.

Very thankful. There have been tripplets before. If I leave a bucket of spent grain without a five gallon bucket on top they will eat the entire thing by morning. Oh and if the bucket doesn't have water in it for weight they simply remove it.
