I ended up with 14 quail. I learned a few things the hard way with those little guys

The most important thing I learned was to put them under a heat light or on warming pads. My heater in my brooder turns off. BAD Chicken do ok with it but those little quail need constant heat.

Yes, they're rather fragile. Certainly fun to hatch though.

I'm getting the hatching bug again. Someone slap my patties and tell me I have too many birds.

Too late in season anyway... But it's tempting.

My broodies are due the 25 or 26 of July.
Can't seem to stop them and they aren't supposed to brood. 6 of 12
Never got that message. It is a plus if a few brood.
So I can't tell you to stop Banti I've the same problem
